Pricing
DonutMe uses a simple, transparent fee model with no hidden costs.
Fee Structure
| Item | Cost |
|---|---|
| Platform fee | 1% per confirmed transaction |
| Monthly subscription | None |
| Setup fee | None |
| Minimum volume | None |
The platform fee is applied only when a payment is successfully confirmed on-chain. Failed or expired transactions incur no charges.
How Fees Work
- A customer initiates a payment for 100 USDC
- The smart contract splits the amount automatically:
- 99.00 USDC → your recipient wallet
- 1.00 USDC → DonutMe platform
- Both transfers happen atomically in a single transaction
Gas Fees
Network gas fees are paid by the customer's wallet at the time of transaction. Gas costs vary by network:
| Network | Typical Gas Cost |
|---|---|
| Ethereum | $0.50 – $5.00 |
| Polygon | < $0.01 |
| Arbitrum | $0.01 – $0.10 |
| Base | $0.01 – $0.05 |
| BNB Chain | $0.03 – $0.10 |
Gas costs fluctuate with network congestion. DonutMe does not add any markup on gas fees.
Smart Contract Fee Cap
The DonutMePayment smart contract enforces a hard cap of 1000 basis points (10%) on the platform fee parameter. This is an immutable on-chain safety guarantee — the fee can never exceed 10%, regardless of any off-chain configuration.
The current platform fee is set to 100 basis points (1%).
